How do I use LUT’s?
PHOTOSHOP
Save the LUT’s somewhere that will be easy to relocate
On a Mac: Go to Applications > Photoshop (Current Version) > Presets > 3DLuts (Drop files here)
On Windows: Go to Program Files > Photoshop (Current Version) > Presets > 3DLuts (Drop files here)
Open a “Color Look Up Table” in the adjustments panel
Select “3D Load LUT” and then select the LUT of your choosing
AFTER EFFECTS
Save the LUT’s somewhere that will be easy to relocate
Add an adjustment layer into the timeline
Go to the effects panel and type “Apply Color LUT”
Select the LUT of your choosing
